Cardiac tumors are a rare but serious medical condition which requires a specialized care center for optimal patient outcomes. The Cardiac Tumor Program, located within the Center for CardioOncology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, is one of only a handful of such centers in the world dedicated to caring for patients with a cardiac mass.
The Cardiac Tumor Program builds on the individual and collective expertise of the CardioOncology care team by bringing together experts in clinical cardiology, clinical oncology, cardiovascular imaging, cardiac surgery and cardiac pathology. This broad expertise and experience is enhanced by access to the most advanced medical therapies and cutting-edge surgical technologies currently available. Our multidisciplinary care team creates a comprehensive and individualized diagnostic and treatment plan for each patient seen within the Cardiac Tumor Program.
