Insulin Resistance & Breast Cancer Prognosis in Black & White Women

The aim of this study is to understand if racial disparities in breast cancer prognosis can in part be explained by differences in insulin resistance and insulin signaling between black and white women. 

Are you Eligible? (Inclusion Criteria)

Inclusion Criteria

Women over age 21 with primary breast cancer

Exclusion Criteria

Patients who take daily glucocorticoids; patients with end-stage renal disease; hepatic cirrhosis; patients who have undergone neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
