Amanda Alonso, CCRC is currently the Senior Research Manager of the Clinical Research Core. Originally from Cleveland, Amanda started working as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Department of Surgery in 2010 and has worked in various divisions of surgery, including cardiothoracic, plastics, dermatology, renal, breast, and vascular. In 2012, she joined the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and earned her Certification in Clinical Research Coordination. In the Fall of 2016, she enrolled in the Masters of Health Administration program at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health with expected completion in December of 2018.
Amanda's hobbies include yoga, knitting, reading, and hiking with her dog, Lucy. She especially likes trying new activities, tasting new foods, and meeting new people.
