Diana Catz is a Research Nurse Coordinator working primarily with the Section of Vascular Surgery. She was born in Argentina, and earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Buenos Aires, and her PhD at the Instituto de Investigaciones Bioquimicas Luis Federico Leloir. She also completed a Master in Public Health from The Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Bronx Community College. After post-doctoral fellowships and basic research positions, she worked as a Research Coordinator at the CUMC Cancer Center, as Project Director for the Asthma Clinical Research Network at Harlem Hospital and as Project Manager at Clinical Directors Network. She has been working in Vascular Clinical trials since 2004. Diana joined the New York Chapter of ACRP in 2014 and soon after earned her certification for Clinical Research Coordination. Diana’s main goal is make clinical trial participants feel better, regardless of clinical trial results.
Diana’s hobbies include hiking, biking and gardening. She likes drawing and painting, activities she resumed two years ago after a long hiatus, and traveling and exploring new cultures.
