Aggressive chemotherapy and radiation were not enough to turn things around for Meredith Moore, who was fighting Stage 3 pancreatic cancer, so as the disease progressed, she reached out Dr. Tomoaki Kato. After removing Moore's pancreas, stomach, spleen, gallbladder, liver and parts of her intestines, he cut out the pancreatic tumor and replaced her liver and intestines back into her abdomen. Two years later, Moore is cancer free and thankful for every day she has with her family.
