Interviews
This year, we have 3 interview days
(December 12th 2009, January 9th 2010, and January 16th 2010). In addition, on the evening prior to each
interview, an informal gathering is arranged by the house staff, usually at an
establishment on the Upper West Side.
Each applicant is scheduled for two 30-minute
one-on-one interviews with faculty members and 1 interview with a Senior
Resident. The program director and the department chairman meet the candidates
for an introductory lecture, are present throughout the day for informal
discussions about research and career plans, and join the applicants and
housestaff for a luncheon on completion of the day's interviews.
Please note that parking is provided during
the interview day by the program in the hospital parking lot located at 165th
