Description

Our 2016 community breast cancer awareness symposium will commence with a welcome and breakfast. The program will focus on living with cancer and survivorship. Topics that will be covered include: risks, prevention, screening, myth busters, imaging & radiology such as: 3-D breast tomosynthesis, CESM, breast ultrasound, MRI & nuclear medicine. Also, we will discuss surgical innovations such as IORT, margin probe, lymphedema prevention and treatment, SaviScout, ductoscopy, PEMF and more. After the lectures attendees will attend our health fair where various vendors will provide information and demos on surgical innovations, support services, aromatherapy, relaxation techniques, healthy nutrition, lymphedema products, breast reconstruction, and enjoying life after a cancer diagnosis.
