The Global Center offers unique expertise in the management of immediate, early and late complications and effects of prior surgery. Complications of surgery, scarring leading to adhesions or narrowing of the gastrointestinal tract, sinuses and fistulas, malalignment of the colon, rectum or pouch, tension or floppiness at an anastomosis, problems with orientation and twisting of structures can lead to problems with function that can affect health and quality of life. Our team has unique expertise in the understanding and management of these problems.
