The Esophageal Disorders Program at Columbia aims to advance the level of care for people struggling with gastroesophageal reflux (GERD), esophageal cancer, achalasia, Barrett's esophagus, and other esophageal disorders. The clinicians in our multidisciplinary team pool their expertise and resources to ensure patients receive the most up-to-date care when it comes to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of these conditions. Our team has a particular focus on developing new interventional and surgical treatment approaches that minimize risks, lead to faster recoveries, and produce better long-term outcomes.
