About
Anna West is a recent graduate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she earned her degree of Master's of Science in Physician Associate Studies. Anna relocated to New York City after graduation to work alongside Dr. Tomoaki Kato in both the outpatient and surgical patient setting at the Center for Liver Disease and Abdominal Transplantation at Columbia University Medical Center.
Prior to her career, she did two years as a research assistant at Boys Town National Research Hospital under Dr. Gaelle Doucet in brain architecture, imaging, and cognition. Research emphasis was on functional MRI imaging to characterize the impact of disease and aging on brain functioning across the lifespan.
