2015 Ruth Leff Siegel Award Now Open to All Qualified Applicants

The Ruth Leff Siegel Award, comprised of two separate awards, serves to recognize a scientist/group of scientists currently working in the field of pancreatic cancer research whose work has had the most impact in the field in that given year, nationally and/or internationally.  One of the awards, in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), is given to a candidate or group of candidates outside of the Columbia University community, while the second, in the amount of twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000), recognizes a faculty member at the Columbia University Medical Center.  The Award will be celebrated at an annual luncheon hosted by Columbia University in honor of the awardees.  This award not only serves the purpose of recognizing outstanding researchers in the field of Pancreatic Cancer, but also serves to honor the memory of Ruth Leff Siegel.
