Columbia’s Division of Pediatric Surgery is dedicated to leading the field of prenatal, neonatal and pediatric surgery through top-quality clinical care, academic excellence, and pioneering research.
Patient Care
Columbia’s Pediatric Surgery Division provides surgical treatment to prenatal and newborn babies, as well as gives comprehensive care for all childhood and adolescent surgical issues, from routine appendectomies and hernias to rare and complex diseases. Operating out of NewYork-Presbyterian’s Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital on the main CUIMC campus, we offer several top-ranking programs for families in need of specialized care, such as our Esophageal Atresia Center and Congenital Diaphragm Program. Education & Training
As leaders in pediatric surgery, we consider it our responsibility to educate the next generation of surgeons, as well as ensure today’s medical professionals have the knowledge and training they need to deliver the very best care. Our fellowship program gives young doctors the chance to learn every aspect of pediatric surgical care, while our CME programs raise awareness of the latest best practices and techniques.
