Guide to Brow Lift
A brow lift procedure (commonly referred to as a forehead lift) is used to treat the fine lines and wrinkles that occur as a result of aging. The brow lift addresses a variety of issues above and around the brow to give the face a younger, more rejuvenated appearance.
Benefits of a Brow Lift Procedure
- The creases that develop across the forehead are reduced, as well as those lines and wrinkles on the upper bridge of the nose.
- The vertical lines between the eyes, often referred to as frown lines, are smoothed with a brow lift as well.
- Skin that has lost elasticity and created a hooding effect of the brow over the eye can be tightened and lifted. This can make the brow appear younger and correct the “hooding” of the upper eyelids.
- Sagging eyelids are lifted to give a more alert, rested appearance.
Brow lift procedures are among the most popular facial rejuvenation procedures. Since the forehead and eyes are one of the first areas to show the signs of aging in many people, addressing these particular areas can vastly improve one’s appearance. A brow lift is an excellent procedure to have done in conjunction with other facial rejuvenation procedures, such as eyelid surgery, a face lift, or neck lift.
