Injectable Fillers

Injectable fillers used for soft tissue augmentation can plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases and wrinkles or improve the appearance of recessed scars — visible signs of facial aging that occur over time as a result of sun exposure, heredity and lifestyle.

Soft tissue augmentation does not stop the aging process. If you wish to change the elements of your face, surgery such as a facelift, brow lift or eye lift may be the answer. Non-surgical rejuvenation treatments such as injectable fillers cannot achieve the same results, but may help delay the point at which a facelift becomes appropriate. If you would like to restore facial contours, or reduce the appearance of lines and creases, injection fillers with soft tissue may be right for you.

Additional fillers offered by Dr. Grant include:

  • Soft Tissue Fillers
  • Restylene® Fillers
  • Juvederm Fillers

Injectables for Men

In recent years, the use of Botox and other injectible fillers has become very common for men in their 40s and 50s who are beginning to deal with the loss of skin elasticity in the face.

Botox Injection The cosmetic form of botulinum toxin, often referred to by its product name BOTOX®, is a popular non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck. The toxin works by blocking nerve impulses, temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles while giving the skin a smoother and more refreshed appearance. Studies have also suggested that BOTOX is effective in relieving migraine headaches, excessive sweating and muscle spasms in the neck and eyes.
